Like many others I am less the pleased with the ending of the Mass Effect Trilogy. I still believe the game is a phenomonal ride but a few things in the end, arguably the most critical point in the entire series, keep the game from meeting set expectations.

What I do really appreciate is how Bioware is addressing the matter. "...So, it’s incredibly painful to receive feedback from our core fans that the game’s endings were not up to their expectations. Our first instinct is to defend our work and point to the high ratings offered by critics – but out of respect to our fans, we need to accept the criticism and feedback with humility", Dr. Ray Muzkya, Co-Founder of Mass Effect writes.

Their blog article is much larger then that one little blurb but I find it refreshing to know that Bioware is at the very least listening. In my opinion they do not have to do anything to address the ending in terms of DLC(I would gladly accept it, but I don't expect it). The fact that they are listening to constructive criticism is enough for me. I still think Bioware is one of the best game developers out there. What they do from this point on will tip that scale in either direction.

Are there any other modern games where you felt the ending was awful compared to the experience of the game? What were your feelings about the ending of ME3? Please keep everything spoiler free, or at the very least hide spoilers.
